Monse: the brand
This duo, today at the artistic direction of the house Oscar de la Renta where they met years before when they were interns, was able to create a brand that I am sure, is here to last. Even before their first parade for the fall winter 2015 New York fashion week, there were a buzz around the brand. Since a lot of celebrities had already worn their creations. Indeed, their original architectural lines and their high sense of fashion were hard to resist to.
Like many people, I discovered the brand when Rihanna wore one of their dress during her award ceremony at the prestigious Harvard University. I was then thinking of buying some of they creations. However, distributed only in online retailers in France, I decided to wait. I wanted to see, to touch the materials. You can imagine how happy I was when I found out Maria Luisa will propose a selection of the spring summer 2018 collection. I decide to go for three pieces.
