Oui A few days ago, the Paris fashion week took place. The last stop of the fashion month after the weeks of New York, London and Milan. Small moments of grace where thousands of people bring to the passionate the work of several months. The “Bible” of fashion that will set the tone for the trends of the coming season.
This time for once, I will not list the trends as I have already done here, but share with you about my little disappointments, my favorites …. everything that has caught my attention.
Paris fashion week: My little disappointments.
One of the most anticipated moments of this fashion week was Hedi Slimane’s first collection for Céline. Indeed, the art director, master in the art of communication has made sure to create and grow this expectation. As previously at Saint Laurent, loud and resounding changes have occured : a new logo revealed on Instagram, a website inaccessible with only information a countdown. Causing panic among customers and the rush into the shops because of rumors of discontinuation of iconic models. Then we learn it was to reveal the new bag, his first at Celine, worn by Lady Gaga.
No need to tell you that it was one of my must see and I was disappointed. An impression of « déjà vu »: Saint Laurent silhouettes from previous collections. I did not see anything that caught my attention.
Another big name in fashion was debuting in a new house: Riccardo Tisci at Burberry. I must admit he has always been one of my faves and I don’t know how to tell you? It almost hurts but I have not seen anything exceptional. Nothing that stuck me and / or left me at lost for words as usual in the past.
I can’t wait for the winter collections. Paris fashion week: my favorites How not to start by praising the talent, vision and accuracy of Karl Lagerfeld, artistic director of Chanel and Fendi. Sets, accessories, silhouettes I loved almost everything.
Like many , I was stunned by of the Chanel show: Imagine a whole beach, fine white sand in Paris at the Grand Palais. A technical performance that can’t go unnoticed. What about the collection? As usual, the tweed suit has been revisited. I really liked accessories inspired by the 90s logo and bling. The silhouettes elsewhere seem to be inspired by the same period given the proportions of the silhouettes.
I am still amazed by the Fendi’s collection.I wasn’t ready, not at all. Everything was perfect, from colors, to silhouettes, and accessories … accessories !!!!!!!!!!! I am waiting for small belt bumbags. As you know, I have always had a particular interest in leather goods.
I shared again here recently my enthusiasm for Louis Vuitton accessories by Virgil Abloh during his first show. This Fendi fashion show was the perfect mix of crafmanship and modernity with that little “je ne sais quoi”: moments of grace I told you.
Simple cuts, materials that caress the body and beautifully reveal the silhouette, accessories that bring what it takes to give the outfit another dimension, the proportions: that’s how I define the collection Jacquemus . It’s simple he can’t do no wrong since day one.
As for years already, sportswear is more than represented for my greatest pleasure. Virgil Abloh’s Off-White fashion show, a master of the art of combining sportswear and classic cuts, has delighted me. Tailor bare back worn with sneakers, coveralls, shimmering colors. A pleasure!!!
I will end with the classic cuts of Dior and Givenchy. Tailors and dresses very DNA cuts coupled with sportswear accessories with visible logos. Long live the mix and match. Special mention to Max Mara, whose perfect cuts in perfect colors gave me life.

Mon but ultime.
